HOW TO MAKE A DONATION

Thank you for supporting Charltan.  At this time, we can only accept bank transfers or wire money transfers.  We apologize for the inconvenience but PayPal and other eCommerce platforms do not support activity in Zimbabwe.

 

If you choose to donate, please choose one of the options below, and THANK YOU.

GROCERIES

The Charltan School Trust Safe House requires monthly a substantial amount of groceries to feed 12 mothers and their babies.  Local donations of cash or grocery items are greatly appreciated.  Please contact us directly for the grocery shopping list and to arrange pick-up/delivery.

EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES/STATIONARY

Charltan School Trust students require exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, and calculators.  The need for paper goods is monthly.

BABY CLOTHING & SUPPLIES

Charltan School Trust welcomes new and gently used baby clothing.  The children also require a range of baby supplies from diapers to bottles.  Most of the children staying at the safe house range in age from newborns to 2 years old.

CLOTHING & SUPPLIES (TEENS/YOUNG WOMEN)

Charltan School Trust welcomes new and gently used clothing appropriate for teens and young women.  The young ladies staying at the safe house would also appreciate personal hygiene and feminine healthcare products.

FURNITURE

The Charltan School Trust Safe House has the minimum of furniture required to adequately house 12 young women and their children.  To provide an improved atmosphere and services to these young women and meet our goal to assist at least 24 women and their children in total, we seek the following:

electric stove and/or 4 plate gas tank
bed linens
chest of drawers
2 double beds
curtains
kitchen table
cutlery

VOCATIONAL TRAINING TOOLS

To better facilitate our vocational training activities we seek the following donations:
2 hand sewing machines
2 tablets
1 laptop
seeds/seedling for backyard gardening
